Dinghy Sailing
Length: Class meets once a week for 4 weeks. Total of 16 hours of instruction.
Equipment Used: RS Feva: 14ft dinghy, or RS Zest: 12ft. dinghy

Our beginning sailing class is perfect for individuals that are new to the sport of sailing or for those who are looking for a refresher. You will develop a strong foundation through hands-on sailing in 14’ RS Feva dinghies. Topics that you will learn include:
- Sailing topics such as sail theory, points of sail, basic terminology, tacking, gybing, safety, knots and docking.
Keelboat Sailing
Length: Class meets once a week for 4 weeks. Total of 12 hours of instruction.
Equipment Used: RS Venture keelboat or RS 21 keelboat

Our beginning Keelboat course is intended for students who already have an understanding of the basics and are ready for more. This course will follow the similar progression of our beginning dinghy sailing class but on a larger boat. This larger platform will allow you to sharpen your skills while challenging you to a higher level of theoretical knowledge and boat handling. Our instructors will expand on the various roles and responsibilities of the crew, and explore the balance of forces on the boat.
