 Our comprehensive program combines hands-on practical training with expert guidance, ensuring participants develop the skills and confidence needed to master the intricacies of keel boat sailing. Participants can expect a full classroom lesson on the basics of keel boat sailing and time at the helm of one our three keel boats

Get ready for chills and thrills on the water! Join us for our Haunted Homecoming Sunset Kayak on October 25th from 4:30 – 7:30 PM. Costumes are encouraged (but not required) as we paddle into the sunset with a spooky twist! 👻
What to Expect:

• Spooky Sunset Paddle – Enjoy a kayak ride with a haunting vibe as the sun sets over the Channel Islands Harbor.
• Costume Fun – Dress up (if you dare!) and add to the eerie atmosphere. While we won’t be getting our bodies in the water, please avoid masks or costumes that restrict your movement, so you can paddle safely and comfortably.
• Photo Ops – Get ready to strike a pose, a photographer will be out on the water with you to capture all your most hauntingly fun moments.

Ahoy, Dolphins! 🌊⚓ Join us for our Homecoming Picnic at the Channel Islands Boating Center! This event is open to all CSUCI students, alumni, friends, and family—everyone is welcome to celebrate by the shore.

We’re bringing the food, the fun, and the good vibes straight to the shore. Whether you’re ready to set sail or keep your feet on dry land, there’s something for everyone! 🛶⛵

What to Expect:

Watersports Adventures – Curious about sailing, kayaking, or paddle boarding ? Try them all! We’re offering free sailing rides with experienced instructors at the helm and hosting fun paddling activities right off the dock. All safety gear and instruction will be provided, so you can jump right in and find your next watersport passion!

Picnic at the Boating Center – Enjoy great food, music, and the beautiful Channel Islands Harbor. We’ll provide tables, but feel free to bring your own chairs to make yourself comfortable. It’s the perfect spot to relax and soak in the harbor views.

On-Land Games – Not in the mood to get wet? No worries! We’ve got plenty of games and activities on land to keep the fun going for everyone.

Whether you're dipping your toes into the water or just here to relax and enjoy the picnic, we’ve got the perfect mix of excitement and chill. Don’t miss out—bring your crew and join us for a day of sunshine, sailing, and all-around good times. 🌞
